There are a number of ways you can save AP World History.

  • Contact Trevor Packer, Senior Vice President for AP and Instruction at the College Board or @AP_Trevor
    • Explain that you believe high school students need the expansive history that only AP World History in its current form can provide.
  • Contact the College Board directly at 866-630-9305
    • Voice your displeasure at the College Board adding to a divisive American culture by not promoting equity and inclusiveness
  • Contact the history department at your local college/university/community college
    • The College Board depends upon post-secondary faculty when making curricular changes.  If college professors come out against the abbreviation of the AP World History course, the College Board will listen.
  • Contact your local education reporter
    • The College Board hates bad press.  The more articles that make the general public aware of what the College Board is doing and what the ramifications of that change are, the more likely the College Board will reconsider this decision.
  • Contact your local cultural organizations
    • Make it known that the College Board is in favor of cutting the important contributions of Chinese, Indian, Islamic, African, Native American and Oceanic societies.
